Need some advice from experienced photoshop users
I took this image at 2 different times. The stars were taken at 2am and the foreground taken at 5am (due to lack of light to expose the foreground). I was suppose to wake up at 4 am (in the early twilight hours) to photograph the foreground but my alarm didnt go off.
Anyways, this my image once I blended them. I tried really hard to match the exposure of the water to give it a more night look. But I ended up darkening the important aspects of the foreground.
Heres the blended version before I adjusted the water:
Can you give some tips on how I could maintain a sense of verisimilitude with the water?
I tried creating some glow on the galactic centre (like this artist: http://bit.ly/2xfGJTM) to explain the brightness of water but to no avail.
