Godot flashes reliability

I'm currently using a Pixel flash system (speedlite + transmitter/receiver) for studio portraits. It usually works extremely well, but sometimes, randomly, it misses to fire completely.

I tested it many times with identical settings, but every now and then the flash just doesn't go off even if it has the green light.

For studio work it's not usually a big issue because when it doesn't go off I can just ask my subject to hold on a moment, but I happened to miss some shots at events because I was expecting the flash to fire and for some reason it just didn't.

Before I spend a ton of cash on a Canon speedlite, I'd like to know what people think of Godox flashes, especially on their reliability.
