Should Live View images be the same on different cameras (same model) with the same lens?

I have two D3300 camera bodies. Images taken with a 18-55mm VRII kit lens look sharper on one camera than the other, including images taken in Live View. Just to be clear, I mean one lens, two camera bodies. The same lens switched between two cameras. I understand images taken through the viewfinder could be different due to alignment issues in the mirrors and the phase detection focusing system of a particular body and lens combination. But shouldn't Live View images have the same quality with both camera bodies, since light from the lens bypasses the mirrors and goes directly to the sensor?
