Colors and Color Mode with outdoor portraits (caution - sexy photo)
I was just working on this photo, and I found that I have to use Landscape color mode in order to get the logo on my model's shirt to look right, but then her skin looks too vivid. Here I have posted sRGB jpegs of the model in 4 different color modes. First the Landscape color mode, followed by Portrait, Neutral (somewhat washed out look), followed by Foveon Classic Blue (wow!). Finally, I created a sharpened version, which is a combination of Landscape and Portrait color modes.
Please excuse my model's wet underwear. She just couldn't stop getting wet!
Vivid looked almost the same as Landscape, so I didn't include it here.
One thing I find surprising is the large variance in image size (there's that word again), from 12.4 MB for the smallest (Neutral) to 15 MB for the largest (Foveon Blue).
