Seeking advice for having g a dome port for the M34 setup

Hello All,

I am new in this forum and I am having a new Meikon housing for my E-M 5 mkII. Just done a test dive without the camera. Its ok so will bring the camera with the 60mm Marco len next time.

I also note a dry dome port is available for this housing, sue to its very affordable price, i am tempted to give a a try even I don't have a fisheye len for my camera yet..

My question is there is not too much information about which lens will work in this dome port even it can physically fit in it.

After searching on the internet, it seems the most recommended fisheye for U/W is the Panasonic Lumix 8mm fisheye, someone may use the Samyang 7.5mm fish eye too but the latter is a manual len.

1/ Does autofocus an advantage for UW, (someone said fora  manual len need to set at f11 to cover the close to infinitive range in focus)

2/ How do I know if the Meikon dome port will work with the Panasonic len? or does it matter as long as it can fit inside the port ( I don't think so, but I could not get any information on line)

3/ The virtue image of the dome port, while I understand the virtue image of the dome port will be very close to infront of the port glass. Does it mean if the len has a minimum focusing distance less than this virtue image distance. then it will be fine?

Sorry for my English. but really would like try this low cost dome port and shooting some wide angle shot...As long as the setup will work...

Thx in advance for any advice.
