Your compositions are interesting, you can put an in-focus subject where you want it in the frame, and there is no problem with image brightness, so you have all the basics working. As jvceac said they are nice images, but if you compare them with what THENITEOWL posted they don't have anywhere near as much visual impact, and that's about post-processing. The best advice I can give you is shoot raw, learn a how to use a converter, understand the histogram, and how to manipulate it via the black point, white point, and curves. I think that will make the biggest difference for you.
