Tamron 150-600mm on SL2
Re: Tamron 150-600mm on SL2
None of the recent ones were, I tried out the 150-600 S and was actually pretty impressed with it's optical quality but that was back when it first started shipping. I used it for a trip to Bosque del Apache NWR. I think it was 5 days and after post processing the images I really don't think I could tell the ones from it vs shots from my 500mm f/4. The main reason I didn't end up keeping it was that it was just too heavy to be a good companion for my 500mm f/4. Carrying both lenses when traveling is just too much. Now I have the 100-400c and I'm really liking it for those closer shots that 500mm is just too much focal length for.
