I have both. At macro distances, the 65 does great for CA correction (better than Sony macro for this), bokeh, and sharpness. Its bokeh in general cannot compete with the STF, but what can? It is usually good bokeh but with some backgrounds and distances, it is only okay. The CV 65 is somewhat better corrected than even the STF (way better corrected than GM 85!) but the STF is no slouch there either. Both STF and this CV are underrated lenses. The CV 65 is more versatile given its better light transmission, closer to normal focal length, and superior macro ability.
