"Slow focus" to which I ask, compared to what? I have a 60 with the firmware updates on it and camera bodies. It focuses as fast as my 35 F1.4, and 18 and other 2 lenses. It focuses as fast as my Canon 85mm F1.8 on a Canon 6D. It takes longer if you are focusing on something close (it does go to half life size) which none of the standard primes do, but "typical" of what any macro lens will do when close focusing on objects. When the 60 is used in normal focus distances, it focuses as well as any other lens, perhaps differing only in milliseconds. Someone who also has a Canon 100mm Macro, stated that up close, they focus at the same speed, that's what macros do. For me it is a fantastic short, telephoto with close focusing, sharp wide open, and is one of my favorite lenses, but hey, that's just me!
Very well put Dave. Slow or fast is a relative thing. I don't think I've missed shots when using it for street.

I concur completely, Dave. I've been using it for my street lens on my XT10, along with my trusty X70. It certainly is one of my fav lenses. The only time it let me down was trying to take close ups at night in low light. A silly idea to start with, and that is why I have my 35/1.4.

We're Noct messing around with this review.

The Sony ZV-E1 is the company's latest vlogging-focused camera: a full-frame mirrorless camera based the FX3/a7S III sensor, aimed at YouTubers and 'creators' looking to go pro.

Above $2500 cameras tend to become increasingly specialized, making it difficult to select a 'best' option. We case our eye over the options costing more than $2500 but less than $4000, to find the best all-rounder.
There are a lot of photo/video cameras that have found a role as B-cameras on professional film productions or even A-cameras for amateur and independent productions. We've combed through the options and selected our two favorite cameras in this class.
