Thanks for your helpful comments. I think it was the both. Because the spider was on a corner of the ceiling, I had to stand on a small stoll with my left hand leaning on the wall and right hand stretching to take photo with LVF. Not very steady.

By the way, I installed PS Express and it seems an easy tool for quick fix. Thanks.
