OK I'll give you 12x18". But suit yourself. I don't like to print less than 150dpi and I try to stay above 200.

I have a DP2M print behind our receptionist at work, 24x36". That's 130dpi. It works well because you would have to invade her space in order to get close enough to see the low dpi. But if you do, you can see it. At normal viewing distance it's wonderful.
The right level of sharpening is critical, and you can get away with more with foveon sensors. I have some A2 prints from my Merrills and they make my eyes bleed. I've seen AO prints from both the Merrills and Quattros and they hold up perfectly.
