Re: Home viewing on TV is it kaput ?

I am packing up my LG 3D TV to keep safe and possibly as an investment - look what happened to the price of the Fuji cameras. I have replaced it with a 3D projector which now gives me spectacular 120" images. I thought the active glasses would be a pain, but not so - no obvious flicker and  light loss seems to be about the same as the LG passive system.

As for the movies...........well Hollywood killed 3D with a series of terrible post processed efforts. I think it was just laziness that killed off real 3D movies...even Ridley Scott couldn't be bothered to make Alien:Covenant in 3D, despite the success of Prometheus.
