Times have changed, We are now in a world where we must conserve resources and create a smaller carbon footprint. Also for purely economic reasons there has been a switch to more energy efficient lighting.

So just what form of lighting do people really use these days to evaluate a print when it comes out of the printer or on the wall?

Myself, I use a form of 5K LEDs, Daylight Fluorescents and some warm LEDs in spotlights. Though I might look at the print sometimes in real Daylight at mid afternoon when it comes out of the printer. The real viewing conditions have them in 5K LED and Warm LEDs more than in Daylight. I rarely have any form of tungsten lighting in my home anymore except over the dinner table.

There are significant shifts in color between Warm LEDs and 5K LEDs.
