Hi, I'm doing a street portraits project. Most of the time light is not ideal. The small straight on Olympus E-PM2 flash sometimes just doesn't cut it. I would like to have the one flash in hand a'la Zack Arias as an option. It'd need to be small, unintimidating, with a diffuser and easy to use. After the person agrees to be photographed, I usually just a couple of minutes to take the shot.

I was thinking of using a low manual setting on the FL-LM1 Flash to trigger a cheap slave flash, would that work?

Links and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you don't mind going to a radio trigger (which I prefer over optical) Godox is great.  TT350O and a trigger or a pair of TT350O's is reasonable price.  Let's you grow into big speedlites and studio strobes if you want.
