Where I live we got 96% of totality so  didn't get that beautiful aurora but just shot from the front yard.  I had my S1 maxed on settings and used an old welding hood lens for a filter.  Duct tape worked great.  This is just seven of the hundred shots I took.  I'm just an old retired guy who loves photography (if you can classify my attempts as that), so no they're not great but the outing was quite affordable.

I'm red/green color blind so this color adjustment is off.  The welding lens is tinted green.
