Here is a composite using the OOC JPEGs from my Sony a7 and Canon 400mm.

Here is a Youtube video of the time lapse I made from the Sony a6000 and E 55-210mm at 210mm. The tracking mount is not great, so it is drifting and wobbling. And the battery died before the end of the eclipse--Texas heat I'm sure.

I will use the RAWs later and improve both.

Excellent work Jack.

Thanks Steve! I quickly slapped that together with OOC JPEGs. I haven't yet even opened any of the RAW files to PP. I'm still exhausted from being out in the heat so long yesterday. It was brutally hot and humid down here in hell, I mean Texas. I'm glad you got to make the trip. It looks like you got some good photos. Assuming I'm still around in 2024, I live right in the path of totality for that one.

I had put together a mockup of this image in PS the day before the eclipse using simulated images I got from SkySafari, so all I had to do yesterday was take my photo images and layer them in and rotate them to the correct orientation.
