Fujifilm M-mount adapter Question

Hi. I recently bought a Fujifilm X-T1 to use with my leica lenses. I'm using the original fujifilm m-mount adapter to adapt my leica lenses to fuji system. To anyone else using this same/similar system, I have this question:

When you mount the Leica lens and open up the m mount adapter settings, do you set up the lens as the original focal length (eg 35mm for a 35mm summicron) or multiply it by the 1.5 crop factor & select the higher focal length number (eg: 35 x 1.5 = 52.5mm = 50mm approx.)?

Please let me know if you've tested both methods & what are your observations and preferences.

Looking forward to the wisdom.

Cheers,

Ronak
