If you plan to shoot RAW & JPEG and want bursts, the SL-1 buffer bogs down after 2 shots

SL1 I own, and all the ones I tried in the shops, are done ater only 3 shots JPEG only.

I don't know why sites keep lying that this thing can burst for several seconds, it is not true. The buffer is done after 1 second with the fastest card I have.

The mirror does...slap-slap-slap..................slap..........................slap..................slap

The SL1 is a great camera, but it is not any good for burst shots.

The numbers I posted are what I get with my SL-1. Is it possibly that a faster SD card clears a buffer more quickly?

I think Canon just artificially limits burst in software. Using a fast or slower card has no effect on SL1 burst speed or the depth of the buffer for me, nor does chosing a smaller JPEG file size in the menu options.

canon dont want to make this cam like 800d/77d which suitable for every thing

its just for vlogers who want fast video af or for peaple need second body for limited use

that what the all reviews on youtube says
