50mm f1.4 FE Planar HOOD -- necessary?
Do I really need to put on the hood? -)
The only time when I notice that some photos become really flat is when shooting outside in a very bright daylight conditions.
Although I have not shot enough this marvelous combo that's for sure to draw a final judgment, I have not seen a flare or image flattering in other conditions.
Is it necessary for anything other than countering the bright daylight rays?
