Hi Fellas,

I'm an enthusiast photographer and new to I just bought 14-24mm f2.8 and what an incredible lens it has proved so far. Sharpest lens after my Nikon 55mm f2.8 AIS micro lens. However, I'm undecided over buying a filter set for this incredible lens or buying a used 16-35mm f4, either way I'll be spending 600+ bucks.

Buying 16-35 offers both flexibility of using my available 77mm filters kit and a slight weight benefit. Besides, it would be a better investment in terms of a better resale comparing to a specialized filter kit for 14-24mm.

I request all of you great photographers over here at to help me get thru this dilemma. Which one should I buy out of following?

1- Filter Kit for 14-24mm f2.8 (Which one Wonderpana, Lee or ........?)

2- Nikon 16-35mm f4 (most expansive on the list)

3- Nikon 18-35mm f3.5-4.5 g (i read a lot of good stuff about this plasticky)

4- Nikon 20mm f1.8g

My gear list;

Nikon D750

14-24mm f2.8

24-70mm f2.8

50mm f1.4D

55mm f2.8

85mm f1.8g

105mm f2.8D

80-200mm f2.8

300mm f4

If you are looking for a holder and filter kit for the Nikon 14-24 lens, look now further than the Lucroit. I have one for my lens... The kit isnt cheap, but, then, either is a Nikon 14-24 .

This is just the adapter ( to fit the lens), and, the filter holder .

Then, you need to order a filter ( or two if you have the $$ ). Filter size is 165mm x 200mm. I only have one filter for my kit. A two stop soft edge graduated filter
