Leica Summicron vs Voigtlander Nokton?

OK here we go again with a bit of lens-hunting

I ran across a few potential lens opportunities.

Currently looking for a 35mm (or possibly 40mm) lens to add to my box.

Within the Leica-range, I found some very decent offers on the Summicron-R 35 and Summicron 40. (Summilux is out of my budget, currently doing home improvement too

But I noticed the Voigtlander Nokton (both 35mm and 40mm) f/1.4 is also in the price range where I am fishing now.

I like Summicron..... But a wider aperture is always alluring

To people who owned (or used) both: How would you compare the Summicron 35 and/or 40 (not the newest models obviously) vs the Nokton 35 & 40?

*EDIT* the lens would be intended as a general walkaround-lens, also suitable indoors. Therefore, I neglected the Elmarit-range in my search, but maybe a mistake?
