SFD Mode - Perfect conditions
8

In my opinion there are very few scenarios where SFD Mode on the Sigma Quattro Cameras is truly useful. It is paramount that there is no movement whatsoever in the frame. Otherwise SPP produces weird and ugly artefacts.

On my recent vacation on the island of Sao Miguel I encountered a perfect situation for testing the SFD Mode on my dp0 quattro. A dim church interior with light coming through the windows. I'm quite happy how the photo turned out and I couldn't have captured that relatively wide dynamic range without SFD Mode.

What is your experience with SFD. Do you dare using it on moving subjects?
