But am I the only or the first one with such a problem ? Shouldn't there be already dozens of presets for various cameras ?

By the way, I'm not seeing the LR image "way darker" on my monitor here, and I'm not seeing the colors washed out on the LR image, the two images look very close to one another.

Just to make sure - is your monitor calibrated and showing sRGB ?
