What's the one thing you did that improved your photography?

Hello Everyone,

When I first got my dslr last year the very first thing I was when I opened the box was to read the manual from cover to cover. I forgot that I was able to change the ISO through the view finder. It wasn't until the day after of going to the zoo 2 months ago that I accidentally did the ISO button top of the camera. All this time I have been using the camera mostly in Av mode all this year. For me this was a big piece of the puzzle because now I can switch shutter, aperture and iso quickly. I feel this has improved my photography a bit because I don't have to remove my eye from the viewfinder.

What's the one thing you did that improved your photography?
