Why do I need to overexpose by +1 to +2 stops while shooting in Slog2 ?
I recently got a A6500 with 18-105mm lens. I was shooting in 4k in Slog2 mode and had my frame rate set to 24fps and shutter speed to 1/50 and aperture f/4. I was shooting in cloudy afternoon and all I got was way too overexposed shots, which didn't even look any good when I color graded them in post. Later I realised its because the minimum automatic ISO in Slog2 mode is 800. So I guess thats the reason most of my shots were way too overexposed, and above all this, how could possibly overexposing by +1 to +2 stops while shooting in Slog2 mode be any helpful ?
I later shot in Cine2 mode where it allowed me to keep a minimum Auto ISO of 100, which allowed me to get some decent shots.
