Correct meaning of BIF?
3

A friend of mine, relatively new to this forum, more interested in landscapes than birds, asked me the other day what the frequent references to BIF meant.  I suggested he look at some of the relevant threads, and see if he could find a common factor.   He just got back to me, with an air of triumph:  "It's obvious, BIF stands for, 'Barely In Focus'!"

I suggested he keep this thought to himself, to escape the forum's wrath.
