3D Focusing and D500

I spent a few days practicing BIF with the D500 and definitely, 3D tracking gives a much higher rate of keepers.  One thing I noticed, is that even though the focus point [ ] is jumping all over the viewfinder and focus is not locked on the subject, the image captured is sharp anyways.

Anyhow, I don't think that them Dynamic 25, 153 modes work good for BIF...unless they are superior, and I just have bad technique with these focus modes.

The D500 is a superior beast no doubt - crazy fast and reliable focus, which I've seen in the field what it's capable off.
