You probably know me from the documentary and Street forum.

Just checked the files from the OMD EM 5 II with Oly 17mm F1.8 M Zuiko.

LOL.

Mirror less, still s.l.o.w. AF

I do my own tests in store moving my hand, people walking, moving the camera round etc.

Yeah the 2017 M-less cameras they confirm focus really damned fast, faster than last years's and the year before....   which they show on all the fancy youtube videos....  but just like last year when I did my own tests and the year before....   The fast shots despite the IBIS 5 stops blah blah blahdy blah still mostly out of focus and my 2013 D5300 with kit lens at 24mm nailed them every time.....

I'm still getting the X100T though despite the slow focus for moving objects as I want a camera I can take with me everywhere everyday in my jacket poacket and out of them all (except the F but the price is out of my budget) it's that the X70, the GR or GX7.

Don't want m43 as the Omd EM 5 files are not brilliant compared to APS-C and I don't like the almost square ratio of the photos and the GR has no VF which is a deal breaker for me, the X100T anyway feels like a peach of a machine and has great IQ from F2.8 and I'll get used to AF workarounds for fast street shots....
