Reviving old Epson R1900

Hey all, I have a couple of old r1900s sitting dormant in my closet, and have been for about 5 years. I'm moving and downsizing, and so it's time once and for all to decide if I should get rid of them, or try to revive at least one of them. My plan has always been to set it up with a CIS system.

What are the chances that I can get them up and running? Are the jets likely clogged? Several cartridges are low or empty, so can't test without forking over an arm and a leg on cartridges, or just biting the bullet for a CIS and hope it works. Any advice on what to do?

And I realize this is a rather old printer at this point, and I'm sure there are much better ones out there. But I have a couple of these on hand and they were free, so I would rather not junk them. But the printing it did when I last used it was plenty good for my needs.

Thanks!
