"In terms of being a true leader in the market, we were shown market data indicating that Sony now is in fact solidly in the #2 spot for interchangeable-lens camera sales both globally and in several major markets, including the US -- and not just for a single month, here or there."

As so many pointed out Sony is telling lies again.

They only included FF cameras during a slow sales time of year when Nikon owners were patiently waiting for the new D850.

Is Sony the #2 sales leader as claimed. Absolutely not.

But we have come to expect this from Sony marketing.

Perhaps Sony will be nr 2 all so in 2018. The D750 recall was pretty bad. Nikon lost many work hours with warranty issues. Everybody was waiting D760. D750 was pretty good selling article compared to D810. Even the Pentax K-1 sold more than D810.

Sony will release A7III and it will again outsell D850.
