When does the photographer stop being a photographer?

Warning this may start a spirited discussion. I have been taking photos on and off for a long time but I do not consider myself a good photographer. I have no artistic talent, whether it be photography, playing the guitar, drawing or anything like that. I see photos here and on other sites from some very talented people, but I can't help wondering if the original photo is that good or are they better at processing. I know a good photographer will take a good photo with just about any camera, but would it be also true that good processing will make a bad photo look good? Isn't it starting to get to the point where it's becoming special effects just like movies. We know the movies are mostly computer generated so we really can't say the director of photography deserves an Oscar.

Am I just jealous?

To answer my own question. Yes.
