Macro photography
13

Good Evening all.

Last month I took advantage of the Olympus Test and Wow service and borrowed the Olympus 60mm macro lens for a couple of days.  I enjoyed using it once I got used to both the lens and the patience required to get good shots. I managed to get these two which I was quite happy with....

Can I ask if this is the closest / best type of shot I'll get? (I understand that with practice I will hopefully get better).  When I see some macro shots online they look a lot closer.  Is this something that will come with time or is it a limitation of the lens / micro four thirds system or even camera? (EM1 Mkii).

For an example this kind of picture looks a lot closer / detailed.

Thanks for any advice and views, Trevor.
