You know how everyone says
you need to drive at least 30 minutes or more outside of the city lights to get any really good shots of the stars.
For us big city dwellers, are people literally driving out on a clear night; hopping out of the car on the side of the road, setting up a tripod and having at it?
The beach is 20 minutes from me and it's a lot darker than my heart of the city condo so I keep heading there. At least it's a beach!
