Strolling through town with RX100 III

Today is holiday here (as well as in many countries of Roman Catholic tradition). So we went for a walk through our town.

This channel crosses an old industrial district north of the town. Factories were on the left, workers houses on the right. Can you appreciate the unusual perspective? Can you imagine the way I got such a low point of view?

St. Mary of the Holy Cross - Crema

Here the problem was a rather heavy perspective distortion - I think it is named 'keystoning' (see the tilting clocktower in the 'original' in my gallery). Easily corrected using the dedicated tool in C1 Pro (I know it is also possible in LR, but not so straightforward).

The "Torrazzo" from Via Mazzini

This one just needed some tone correction to make the shadows lighter. Torrazzo (16th century) is our landmark...

South side of Piazza Duomo

Some perspective correction was necessary here, too. (compare with the 'original' in my gallery). These building facing the Cathedral side are from the 16th - 17th century, and used to be the homes of wealthy merchants.

Hope you all enjoy - C&C welcome as usual.
