Does an HDMI Monitor Show Exposure Information on a6300

I thought i saw somewhere that if you are using an HDMI monitor with an a6300 to shoot video that the monitor WON'T display your exposure info (i.e., shutter speed, aperture, iso, etc.). Is that correct?

When shooting 4K outdoors, the LCD screen of the a6300 is just way to dim. Would like to get an HDMI monitor, but would want to be able to see all the info, as well as zebras and focus peaking. Isn't that available with a simple HDMI monitor hooked up to the a6300?
