Re: Time to modify the name of this forum?

I agree with the proposal, and, as I understand it this is not a proposal to set up different forums - we're Better Together, even if at times we are a little pedantic.
The current strap line is: 'Welcome to the Pentax SLR Talk Forum, the place to discuss Pentax SLR digital cameras, such as the K and *ist D series'.
Perhaps it should be:
'Welcome to the Pentax SLR Talk Forum, the place to discuss all Pentax APS-C, Full Frame, and Medium Format digital cameras, K mount and 645 mount lenses, and the photography all these facilitate.
(with apologies to M42 users)
This would cover the 645 series - the D, Z, and whatever comes next. It would reflect our inclusive nature; many of us are interested in reading about the 645s.
This would also covers the K-01 which is discussed here even though it is not an SLR, and just maybe Pentax will develop another MILC... eventually. We do think ahead.
It covers our *ist D series and everything from K10D to K-P and K-1,
If we try to be comprehensive we run into problems. Not convinced? Read on...
Pentax nomenclature is either mysterious or inconsistent - depending on your point of view. I looked into a more detailed description, but it does become confusing if we try to be more specific without listing every camera. Feel free to try it: K10d to K200D, K-m to K-r (inc. K2000), K-30 to K-70 (inc. K-500), K-7 to K-3ii, K-01, K-S1 & K-S2, K-1 and KP. Plus 645D-Z. Between that lot there are over 30 digital cameras.
And what is a camera without a lens: We, being Pentaxians, attach the K mount and 645 mount lenses: the "K", followed by M, A, F, FA, DA, DA-L, XS, and D-FA. (These letters also cover the 645 mount lenses even though they are an entirely different size). O/A 280+ lenses!
It would be bonkers to include all these categories, which is why I suggest reference to sensor format and lens mount as an inclusive 'cover-all' proposal.
PS: The others are covered in relatively quiet 'Pentax Compact Camera talk' (Q, MX, WG etc, although I am not sure where new WGs and Thetas are covered - they don't seem to appear in Ricoh talk.)
OK, I'll get my anorak.
