I can see why APS-C-shooting Pentaxians might want their own forum. They certainly have the numbers. As a K-1 owner who just came to Pentax a less than a year ago, I benefit from soaking up the Pentax lore here. And some issues, such as Pixel Shift, are common.
I'd rather keep us all together.
Pentax, so far, is commited to SLR design. So the name of the forum is okay, but the description of things discussed could be vastly improved.
If forum names for Nikon cameras are updated, so that people who shop for them see them immediately in forum names, why can't the description of the Pentax SLR forum include a few recent cameras that are available and are landmarks of the brand?
Do people understand these things affect sales of new Pentax cameras? And that Nikon forum names are designed to increase sales?!!
This is what users see when searching for latest Nikon cameras, to learn and buy — DPR forums have their names, wow! There is no mistake — latest cameras, sales go up:

And this is what search shows up when users look for Pentax DSLR cameras:

This is top of the page forum welcome message:

This antiquated descriptor is in meta description of the forum page, ends up in search results (see above). And it is (a) vague and (b) innacurate; what is *ist D series of cameras? Where I can buy latest in that *ist D series, in which shop?
If I search for that series further, I will see that camera was discontinued long ago, and think Pentax has gone out of business, like, Konica Minolta after its Maxxum 5D in the descriptor.
In SLR design of cameras by Pentax, all I can buy are K- and 645- cameras, and for both, not even a single current model is mentioned.
