The size of viewfinder may not help you see all of it if you wear glasses like I do. The key isn't size so much as "eye point" or a similar spec, which is available for binoculars but apparently not cameras. More eye point distance means more of the viewfinder is visible with glasses. Even with my 70D, I can not see everything in the viewfinder without an eye scan. Canon use to make available an eye extender, which made the image smaller but totally visible with glasses. Don't know why the eye point distance is not longer since many people were glasses. With my binoculars, I was frustrated that I could only see the entire image except by removing my glasses. Not what I wanted to do with pricey glasses. I found a pair of Nikon binoculars with an eye point of 20-24mm instead of the common 14-16mm. Now I can see the entire image with glasses, which allows for a sharp image due to eye glass corrections that the binoculars can not provide, which is only focus.
