Meter not changing when ISO adjusted on new Canon 5D mark iv

Wondering if my brand new Canon 5D Mark iv is a lemon.  Everything seems to be working ok, except for one important function.  When I'm shooting, I rely on my meter.  While looking through the viewfinder, the meter changes when I adjust my shutter speed and my f-stop, but it doesn't move at all when I adjust my ISO.  I can increase my ISO from 100 to 3000 and the meter stays exactly where it is.  Never had a problem like this with my previous 5Ds, but this is my first Mark iv.  Anyone else experience this?  Possible I have a setting incorrect?  Thanks.
