...the lowest most entry level M camera and sporting an outdated 18 MP sensor (but with a newer image processing engine), don't underestimate what this M10 can do.

I was in the same boat.  Although I already had the likes of the M, M2, and M3, I saw one at a ridiculously low price - a new one with 14-45 lens at only $369 USD off of eBay (with a US warranty).  I quickly snatched it up and then gave it to my wife - which she used only a few times (lazily returning to her habit of shooting with a smart phone, sigh).  When I took the M10 back and began using it, I became very enamored with its capabilities and was exceptionally  pleased with the IQ I was getting (both in the clarity and colors department).

Some of the finest IQ levels that I've seen have come from entry level models in which the users knew what they were doing from the standpoint of photographic knowledge and knowing the cameras they were using.  This M10 can rank up there with the best of 'em - within reason of course.
