Minolta 9000 advance lever is acting as shutter
Minolta 9000 advance lever is acting as shutter
Aug 10, 2017
I have a really weird problem. I was messing around with a Minolta 9000 that I recently acquired and I was testing out the multiple exposure function on it which you have to do by holding in a button on the side.
Now the advance lever and shutter was working previous to this, but now the shutter button will not take a picture BUT only trips when I advance the film lever. However it only does this when the camera back is closed. If the back is open the shutter works as normal. When the back is closed the shutter button is unresponsive in taking a picture but will still respond to being half pressed to find a focus point when in autofocus mode.
I feel like I am in some sort of 'mode' but I cannot for the life of me figure out what has/what is happening!! Is there a way to reset to factory settings or something anybody can shed any light on? Kind of annoying as I was due to test this camera out tomorrow!
Thanks
