I have the 60mm and it is part of my 3 lens trio, 18, 35 F1.4 and the 60mm and I couldn't be happier.  In my old film days, the Vivitar 90mm F2.5 macro Series 1 (which btw only went 1/2 size with out optional adapter} and was one of my all time favorites for most everything, The Fuji 60mm is for me  is the digital reincarnation of that  Vivitar and am happy as a clam.  I have read that shooting close, it is as fast focus as the Canon 100mm macro.  At normal distances is is as fast as my 18 and 35, anything faster would have to be in milliseconds.  I have a Canon 85mm on my Canon 6D considered to one of the fastest focusing combos and the 60 on my Xt1 is almost the same IMO. So my suggestion buy a used 60, use it and if not satisfied, resell with little or no loss and consider the 80 when it comes out, which is off my radar. The 60 is a pleasure to use, also should you buy it, get the Fuji lens hood that came with the 35mm F1.4, on the 60mm likes something out of Porche Design and very very cool!
