Even that is wrong. Dpreview decided not to employ any sharpening when they illustrated the images (which is nuts since all RAW images need it) and if you do use it, you'll see the E-M5II's RAW high resolution images are just shy of Canon's 50mp images from its DSLR.

OK, so with a best-case lens, sqrt(50/16) = 1.77, which is still short of 2x, exactly as I stated. And the 12-40 is not best-case at the long end.
