Here here to that. The trouble with the M3 is it wasn't good enough, and you spend too much time worrying about your gear when you should be worried about shooting, hence how I even got into DPR to begin with, truth told.

The M3 is the most disappointed I have been with a camera purchase.  It is just painfully slow in nearly all respects.  The shutter lag has made me want to throw it against a wall more times than I can count.  I am really looking forward to getting the SL2.  It is going feel like moving to a Lamborghini from a Smart Car.  With the M3 I felt like I had won the lottery if it manged to get an in focus shot of anything moving the slightest amount toward or away from the camera.

Actually, I should have bought the SL1 instead of the M3 and saved myself a lot of frustration, disappointment and money.
