hard to say from the chart, how wide do you have?

Just for fun I decided to see what focal lengths I've used for my 4-5 star photos. I was surprised to find that the majority of my shots were in the wide angle category. I shoot with a bag full of primes and I feel like I rarely mount my Panasonic 14 and 15mm lenses. I also have a Sony RX100iii and I don't feel like I shoot at the wide end on the lens. I would have guessed the opposite actually.
Now I'm wondering if I should embrace the obvious and get an ultrawide lens, though I don't think that's a focal length that's calling out to me.

You have 24-32 lumped together, so there is no way from telling from this chart how many shots were at 12 and how many were at 16 end. I shoot a lot with my 15PL, one of my most used lenes, but at 15 that is not really wide,. so I would not really be a wide shooter at 15. when I shot at 12 then I'm getting wide.

Also, just a note, the majority of your shots are not in the wide category, if you look at the amount combined in the other focal length ranges and add them all up.

I would go through and see how many pictures you actually have at 12 vs the 16 range that is really moving away from wide.

I do always find it interesting when you do an evaluation like this and it comes up different then I thought it would. I did the same many years ago and discovered I hardly used what I once though of as my fav lens. I also find I tend to take a lot of shots at both extremes of a zoom lens, like my 12-32, most are at 12 or 32,.. I really don't use the range in between as often I would think. I really do like my primes better.
