I tried 2 copies and gave up. It's such a shame because for portraits the first copy I had was amazing. I wanted to be able to shoot real estate though and the right side of the lens was no bueno especially for the money. Some people go through 5 or 6 copies before they find a good one. Some guy is banned from B&H because he returned so many. It's a shame. I don't expect the 16-35gm to be as creamy but hopefully it's good enough @ 2.8 while giving me consistent sharpness across the frame.
