You don't seem to get what I'm saying, so I'll try again - a FF body like a Q with an EVF and an interchangeable M bayonet lens mount, not an M body. Que?

Thanks, but I really want a Q Vario.

BLASPHEMY!!!It's a camera, not a religion.I think that you may have missed my point. The Q's greatest appeal may be its lightning fast and accurate autofocus. If you lose that by mounting MF only lenses, who, exactly, is going to want it, other than Leica M wannabes? Well, then, buy an M body, and be done with it.Of course it would need to be manual focus. If they created a $3000ish Q-like M mount body, I seriously doubt it would affect traditional M sales to any serious extent - it would be playing to two completely different market segments. Do Nikon D3400s cannabalize D500 sales? And why would they want to do that? To sell more, of course - besides the bodies, Summarit sales would increase, too.The Q is primarily an autofocus camera. How would you propose that M lenses be focused on a Q body? If you say that they would be focused manually, then that would mean parasitizing sales of M cameras. Why would Leica want to do that?I'd much rather see an M mount body based on the Q.

No, that's just typical Leica. They rarely decrease the price until a new model comes out.I find it interesting that the Q's retail price has not budged since it was released over 2 years ago. That means that demand is keeping up with supply.
The price of the SL just dropped substantially. Is there an SL2 about to be released? We shall see.No, that's just typical Leica.
