Abraham Lincoln, the 16 President of the United States, was shot on April 14, 1865, at Ford’s Theater, Washington DC, by John Booth, an actor and Confederate.

Then, he was transported to Peterson House, across the street from the theater, where he died the next morning.

This house was built on 1849, and served as a boarding house. It became a museum since 1930, and is being visited every day by a crowd of tourists.
