K-1 flip out screen feeling loose from use - remedies anyone?

I recently have noticed that the flip-out screen of my K-1 has become sort of loose, making it a bit more difficult in handling: it follows the forces of gravity more than it used to (if my memory serves me right) and definitely more than I care for ...

Looking at the complete contraption closely I can't see any ways to "re-stiff" the handling of the screen; there are some screws on the back of the flip-out tray hosting the screen, but they are as tight as they should be. I do think the looseness comes from the metal rails on the back of the K-1 guiding the struts leading to the flip-out tray - maybe they have worn out a bit from extended use.

Has anyone experienced the same? And are there ideas out there for a remedy - a way to re-tighten stuff?

Any comments appreciated!

Phil
