Travel camera and possibly more.

Hi everyone!  I have a crop sensor slr, 18-70, 70-300 and 10-20 lenses.  It is a great camera for me, but is bulky and feeling heavier in the last year.  I'm not a big upgrader, but I am traveling to Ireland in less than a week (I shouldn't rock the boat).  I will be able to visit the cliffs of Moher.  I have been eyeing micro 4/3 cameras and the sony a6000 series.  I really like  reviews and layout of the G85.  I thought I wanted the GX85 based on the plain block appearance, but I really liked the viewfinder on the G7 (that's what the store had), better.  And I didn't think much of an articulating screen until I tried it.  Oddly enough, I'm not much of a video shooter, but those 4K photo modes seem to have some possibilities.  BTW, the OMD 10 mkii seemed too small to comfortably hold and work the camera.  I've been looking.

My question:  It seems like the G85 is a good stills camera.  Has that been your experience?  And is the 12-60 enough for landscapes?  I don't want to invest in a wider angle lens until I see the pictures for myself.  I will also want to take some interior shots of our party in pubs etc.  I am looking at the olympus 17 mm vs panasonic 25 mm.  Any thoughts?  I am I crazy to buy a camera so close to a bucket list trip?

If the pictures are as good as what I get with my slr, I may be switching.  So I'm not trolling about image quality.  I tried the a6000, a6300 and they were faster to autofocus on moving subjects in the store, but the touchscreen on the g85 was really neat.  The sony's were not as intuitive for me to use.  I'd rather take a small hit on image quality then get burned trying to menu dive.

Thanks you for your input.  Yup I should've done this sooner.
